While I was gone...
...I discovered delightful ways to waste time on the internet, most notably: Polyvore.
On Polyvore, you can make things like this:

So this morning I stumbled out the front door with my ice water in hand (I'm attempting to lay off the caffine) and went down the front steps to where my jeep was parked. A good morning suprise waited for me: my driver's door was ajar and someone had obviously rummaged, ruffled, or, as the police report would later say, "pilfered" through my car. And apparently it wasn't the only car. The policewoman said that there had been around 10 cars in our neighborhood who got burgled, or pilfered, in my case.
Nothing was stolen (I mean...I'm a slightly poor inbetween college student driving a 12 year old car...what valuable am I going to have in there?).
Creepy. So much for Mayberry in Anderson.

Old is new!
Decided to start posting random photos, no matter how old, as long as I actually took them.

Tacky Tory and Co.
Granted, I don't think any of these started out as being tacky. Before every middle schooler felt the need to carry a Coach, Coach bags were relatively classy, "Cs" and all. Before Tory Burch shoes were on the foot of every sorority girl on campus, they were classy too. (p.s. Not bashing sorority girls)

How many words does it take to say nothing? Please see this post to find out.
So I haven't been in a bloggy mood lately. I guess things have been pretty placid on the pond that is my life. (Hahaha...ha.......ha .....um, yeaaaa....:-\)
My life is pretty much revolving around watching the Olympics and forcing myself to actually keep up a basic exercise routine. I'm quite happy because due to excercising daily I've already noticed a change mentally and physically. :-) Hooray! I also discovered that my a.d.d. tendencies show up when I'm trying to stay healthy too. I think it's because I get bored with one thing. For example, I was riding my bike all last week, and I'll ride it this week too, but I don't feel like riding it every day. So I think I'm going to go buy some sort of aerobic Taebo dvd and spend a few evenings a week bouncing around in the living room. Should be interesting for anyone who happens to pass through.
Anway, like I said, not much to blog about lately.
P.s. Michael Phelps a golden god.

So if you didn't watch the Men's 4x100M Relay last night... You probably should have. But it's not too late! Click and watch. Talk about a fantastic Olympic event...

Oh the things we can do...
It's the weekend! (almost)
Finishing up lunch break now. I ate over half of a small pizza, so much for "eating healthy." Oh well, I deserve it seeing as I've actually been excercising lately (here we go again, right?).
But I'm so excited about this weekend. Mainly because my plans are minimal which leaves a ton of room for improvision.
So far I want my two days of freedom to include: a run through second-hand shops, a few hours (at least) in the sun, a ride on my bike, and good times with friends. I foresee all of those happening. Yay! :-)
Oh, I also want to start on my new and oh-so-cliche (wait is that a completely contridictory statement?) photography project. Something that has to do with macro shots and the town I live in. Yes it's probably been done, but not by me.
I'm off to make it on the final stretch: 3ish hours and counting. Oh gah, I shouldn't have thought about that number...
All that Jazzzz...
Copenhagen Fashion Week began on Wednesday and I decided I would save my runway photo overkill for September 5-12 (aka Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week) but then I saw Day Birger et Mikkelson's collection and became utterly obsessed! Channeling 1930s fashion is never a bad thing...
